This Privacy Policy explains how Kickstart Social LLC ("Kickstart Social," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or interact with our websites, including kickstartsocial.co, launch.kickstartsocial.co, growpro.co, and kickstartsocial.pro (together, the "Sites"), or otherwise engage with our marketing, brand-launch, and related business services (the "Services"). By using the Sites or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who we are, and who we are not
Kickstart Social is a marketing and business services company. We help entrepreneurs launch and market telehealth and wellness brands. We are not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or medical practice, and the Sites are not intended to collect medical or health information. Telehealth brands we help launch are independent businesses with their own privacy policies and, where applicable, their own HIPAA notices. If you are a patient of a brand we helped build, that brand's privacy policy, not this one, governs your patient information.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and business details when you fill out a form, application, or configurator, book a call, message us, or become a client: name, email address, phone number, business name, and the information you choose to share about your goals and project.
- Payment information when you purchase Services. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Whop, Stripe, Authorize.net, or NMI). We do not store your full card number on our systems.
- Communications such as emails, SMS replies, chat messages, call recordings, and meeting notes, where permitted by law.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring pages, and interactions with the Sites.
- Cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics pixels from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google. These help us measure our marketing, build audiences, and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising through the platforms' own tools.
3. Text message (SMS) program
When you provide your phone number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from Kickstart Social, including appointment reminders, service updates, and marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any Services. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We will not share your mobile opt-in or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services, including reviewing project submissions and building client deliverables
- To communicate with you about your inquiries, projects, appointments, and payments
- To send marketing communications you have requested or consented to receive
- To measure and improve our marketing, including through analytics and advertising pixels
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect our rights, clients, and users
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as our customer relationship and messaging platform, scheduling tools, project management tools, cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processors, each bound to use your information only to provide services to us
- Advertising and analytics partners (Meta, TikTok, Google) through cookies and pixels as described above, which may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you may opt out as described in Section 7
- Professional advisors and authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information
6. Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including active client relationships, legal and tax requirements, and legitimate business records, then delete or de-identify it. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the categories of sources, purposes, and recipients
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kickstartsocial.co with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using the information associated with your account or inquiry. You may use an authorized agent by providing signed permission. To opt out of advertising cookies specifically, you can also adjust your browser settings or use the opt-out tools provided by Meta, TikTok, and Google.
In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2, for the purposes in Section 4, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in Section 5.
8. Children
The Sites and Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
The Sites link to third-party websites and services, including payment pages, scheduling pages, and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Sites after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
