GrowPro vs Nexus Acquisition (Nexus Health Launch) Compared
Disclosure: GrowPro wrote this page. GrowPro is the telehealth launch consultancy arm of Kickstart Social. Everything said about Nexus Acquisition comes from their own websites, linked under Sources, and we quote them wherever we can. If anything has changed, email hello@kickstartsocial.co and we will correct it.
Nexus Acquisition, which runs its site at nexushealthlaunch.com, and GrowPro both build a founder's own telehealth brand. The difference is what the brand runs on and how long the marketing lasts. Nexus says it will "pick your medical platform and pharmacy" and run your ads for the first 90 days. GrowPro launches you on WellieMD, a platform Kickstart Social owns, and Kickstart Social can market the brand on an ongoing basis. See also Kickstart Social vs Nexus Acquisition for the marketing side and WellieMD vs Nexus Acquisition for the platform side.
Why the platform matters most
The platform is the most complex piece of a telehealth launch. Intake, provider review, pharmacy routing, subscriptions, refills and payments all run through it, and it is the part your patients touch every month. When your launch partner owns the platform, the people who built your brand can also fix, change and extend the system it runs on, with no separate platform company between you and the team doing the work. When the platform is rented from a third party, your launch partner can recommend and configure it, but changes, pricing and support run through another company's contract.
GrowPro builds on WellieMD, which Kickstart Social owns. Like every telehealth platform, WellieMD works with outside partners for clinical care and fulfillment: providers through Beluga Health and licensed partner pharmacies, all listed openly on welliemd.com. What we own is the platform, and the team that does the work.
Who actually controls your launch
Seven questions decide who you can hold accountable after launch. GrowPro's answers are ours. Every other answer is quoted or summarized from that company's own website, and where their site is silent, we say so.
| GrowPro | Nexus Acquisition | |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the telehealth platform your brand runs on? | WellieMD, our own platform, owned by Kickstart Social. No third-party platform layer. | A third-party medical platform they choose for you: "We pick your medical platform and pharmacy"; neither is namedsource |
| Who builds your website, and who owns it if you leave? | Our in-house web team builds it on your own hosting account. You keep it if you leave. | They build "Your name, logo, website, intake quiz and checkout"; hosting after you leave is not statedsource |
| Who files LegitScript, and whose name is on it? | Filed through our LegitScript Enterprise account and issued to your company. | "We prepare your LegitScript and ad applications. You review and sign."source |
| Whose team does the design, build and QA? | Our own in-house design, web and QA teams. | Not disclosed on their site |
| Who runs your ads and creative after launch? | Your choice: your own team, or Kickstart Social's in-house ad team, sold separately. | They "write and run your Meta and Google ads for your first 90 days"; you pay for the adssource |
| Do they earn a percentage of your revenue or exit? | No. 0% of revenue, profit or exit. | "0% Of your sales goes to us. No royalties." A one-time fee, amount not publishedsource |
| Who decides which platform or pharmacy you are routed to? | WellieMD routes by medication and state. Clinical care through Beluga Health; prescriptions filled by licensed partner pharmacies listed on welliemd.com. | They pick the platform and pharmacy; "Licensed providers on your medical platform handle all patient care"source |
"Not disclosed on their site" means we could not find it on that company's website on October 21, 2026. It may be in their contract, so ask.
The short answer
Choose Nexus Acquisition if a written patient-count guarantee matters most to you and you are comfortable with them choosing a third-party platform and pharmacy.
Choose GrowPro if you want your brand on a platform your launch partner owns, with marketing that can continue past the first 90 days.

| What you are buying | Done-for-you build of your own telehealth brand and business, with the team building it WITH you | A done-for-you launch plus ads: "Your name, logo, website, intake quiz and checkout," platform and pharmacy selection, and Meta and Google ads for the first 90 dayssource |
| Published price | Builds start at $27,500, one build price plus platform subscriptions | No dollar figures published: "You pay us a one-time fee to build and launch your brand. You also pay for your own ads, your medical platform and a few setup costs"source |
| Timeline they state | 8 to 12 weeks, set by LegitScript and payment underwriting, not by the software | "60 paying patients in 90 days," with the 90 days starting "on launch day, when your ads go live"source |
| Ownership, in their words | Your entity, domain, website on your own hosting, merchant account and patients | "Your brand, your ad accounts and your patients. We never take a cut of your sales."source |
Quotes are from each company's own website. GrowPro's column describes our own offer.
Nexus Acquisition's guarantee, in their words
"60 paying patients in 90 days. Or every dollar back. If we miss, you pick one. Get a full refund of what you paid us within 14 days. Or we keep managing your ads with no fee from us until you hit 60. You still pay for the ads themselves. A patient counts when they pay for their first month on a plan that renews."source
Quoted exactly from their website. Their site says the full terms are in the written agreement.
Where Nexus Acquisition is strong
- Both companies build the brand itself: name, logo, website, intake and checkout, plus retention texts and emails.
- A written patient guarantee with a defined patient: someone who pays for their first month on a plan that renews.
- No cut of sales: "0% Of your sales goes to us. No royalties."
- Clear ownership language: the brand, the ad accounts and the patients are the founder's, and they state they make no income claims.
Where GrowPro is different
Whose platform
Nexus says "We pick your medical platform and pharmacy" and does not name either on its site. GrowPro launches you on WellieMD, which Kickstart Social owns, so the team that builds your brand also runs the system it sits on.
Marketing after day 90
Nexus writes and runs Meta and Google ads "for your first 90 days." Kickstart Social, the agency behind GrowPro, markets brands on an ongoing basis, across paid ads, social, UGC and email, sold separately.
Guarantees
Nexus guarantees a patient count, quoted in full above. GrowPro does not guarantee patient numbers or results, because they depend on your market, your offer and your execution. Read any guarantee's full terms in the written agreement before you sign.
Owner-operator vs platform reseller: why it matters
There are two ways to sell a telehealth launch. An owner-operator owns the platform your brand runs on and employs the people who design, build and run it. A platform reseller sells a launch built on another company's platform and coordinates the partners who do parts of the work. Both models can work, and both rely on licensed pharmacies and provider groups somewhere, including ours. The difference is who you can hold accountable when something breaks, and who controls the system your patients use every day.
Ask any launch provider, including us:
- Who is my contract with? GrowPro: Kickstart Social, the same company that owns WellieMD.
- Who can change my pricing? GrowPro: your platform subscription is listed on your proposal, and you set your own patient pricing.
- What happens to my patients if you switch platforms? GrowPro: we do not switch you. WellieMD is ours, and your website and merchant account stay in your name either way.
- Do you get paid by the platform you recommend? GrowPro: yes, and we say so. WellieMD is ours, and you pay its subscription directly. We take nothing from your revenue, profit or exit.
Questions to ask any launch program, including us
| Ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| LegitScript filed vs. actually approved | Everyone files. Ask how many of their brands were approved. GrowPro: 100% of ours, to date.* |
| Your site still exists if you leave | Ask whether the website lives on your hosting or theirs. A GrowPro site sits on your own hosting account, and you hold the files. |
| No checkout routed through a parent domain | Check the address bar on their live client brands. GrowPro checkouts run on your domain and your merchant account. |
| Whose name is on the certification | GrowPro files through our LegitScript Enterprise account, and the certification is issued to your company. |
*LegitScript approval reflects our track record to date and is not a guarantee of approval. LegitScript sets its own review standards and timeline.
