GrowPro vs Hedonic Digital: Comparing the Done-For-You Telehealth Build

By the GrowPro team, led by Jessica Lynne White, PT · growpro.co

Disclosure: GrowPro wrote this page. GrowPro is the telehealth launch consultancy arm of Kickstart Social. Everything said about Hedonic Digital comes from their own landing page, linked under Sources, and we quote them wherever we can. If anything has changed, email hello@kickstartsocial.co and we will correct it.

Hedonic Digital is the closest thing to a direct comparison in this category. It builds the funnel, connects the providers, fulfillment and payments, includes LegitScript, and then runs the ads. GrowPro does the same span of work. The differences are who owns the platform underneath, what each company publishes about price, and what each is willing to claim about revenue.

The short answer

Choose Hedonic Digital if your priority is paid acquisition and you want one team writing the scripts, cutting the creative and managing the Meta account daily, with the infrastructure assembled around that.

Choose GrowPro if you want the brand and the business built to own, on a platform the same company owns, with one published build price and marketing available separately rather than bundled into the deal.

Who actually controls your launch

Seven questions decide who you can hold accountable after launch. GrowPro's answers are ours. Every answer in the other column is quoted or summarized from Hedonic Digital's own landing page, and where their page is silent, we say so.

Where Hedonic Digital is strong

Where GrowPro is different

Who owns the platform

Hedonic connects you to a provider network, fulfillment partners and payment infrastructure. That is a coordination model, and it works. GrowPro builds on WellieMD, which Kickstart Social owns, so the company that builds your brand also owns the software your patients use every month. Like every telehealth platform, WellieMD works with outside partners for clinical care and fulfillment: providers through Beluga Health and licensed partner pharmacies, listed openly on welliemd.com. What we own is the platform and the team.

What the timeline measures

Thirty days and 8 to 12 weeks are not the same finish line. A storefront can be live in days. A brand that can legally buy advertising needs LegitScript, and a standard application runs 4 to 6 weeks on its own. We clear in 7 to 14 days because we hold an Enterprise account. Speed is not the problem, and we sell accelerated builds ourselves. The question to ask anyone quoting you a fast number is which lane the certification is filed in, and whether ads start before or after it clears.

The word "Partnership"

We could not find a price, a percentage or a term length anywhere on the page. That does not mean the terms are bad, and plenty of good companies hold pricing for the call. It does mean the comparison cannot be made from the website. Our number is published: builds start at $27,500, and we take 0% of revenue, 0% of profit and 0% of your exit. If you are comparing us to anyone, the fair question is not what the price is, it is what percentage comes after it.

A note on revenue numbers

Two of the three pages we compared on this topic lead with a revenue figure, and so do most programs in this category. We do not publish one, and the reason is not modesty.

The Federal Trade Commission treats an objective performance claim as something the advertiser must be able to substantiate with competent and reliable evidence held before the claim is made. For a launch program, that would mean audited, verifiable financials from a representative set of clients, not one good account. We do not have that, we cannot get it from businesses we do not own, and we are not going to estimate it.

So we publish what we can document instead: the advertising spend, the cost per lead, the screenshots of the accounts, and the build itself, line by line. You can see all of it on our unit economics calculator, where you put in your own numbers rather than reading ours.

This is not an accusation about anyone else's figures. It is a statement about the standard we hold ourselves to, and a suggestion: whatever number you are shown, ask what period it covers, how many clients it represents, and whether the business shown is the seller's own.

Questions to ask any launch program, including us

AskWhy it matters
LegitScript filed vs. actually approvedEveryone says filed. Ask how many of their brands were approved, and whose company name the certificate is issued to. GrowPro: 100% of ours approved, to date.*
Who owns the platformAsk whether they own the software or resell someone else's. GrowPro builds on WellieMD, owned by Kickstart Social.
Your site still exists if you leaveAsk whether the website lives on your hosting or theirs. A GrowPro site sits on your own hosting account, and you hold the files.
What the percentage is, and of whatRevenue share, profit share, exit clause, commission and platform margin are all percentages. GrowPro takes none of them.
What the timeline measuresA live storefront, a live app and an advertising-ready certified brand are three different finish lines. Ask which one the number counts.

*LegitScript approval reflects our track record to date and is not a guarantee of approval. LegitScript sets its own review standards and timeline.

Frequently asked questions

Does Hedonic Digital include LegitScript?

Yes. Its page lists "Get you fully set up with LegitScript certification" under the backend work it does for you. It does not state whether it files through an enterprise account or how long approval takes. GrowPro files through our own LegitScript Enterprise account, which clears in 7 to 14 days rather than the 4 to 6 weeks a standard application takes.

How much does Hedonic Digital cost?

No price appears anywhere on the landing page we reviewed. The call to action is "Apply for a Partnership," and the commercial terms are not published. GrowPro publishes that builds start at $27,500, and every proposal carries one price.

Can a telehealth brand really launch in 30 days?

It depends what the 30 days is measuring. A storefront can go live in days. A brand that can legally advertise needs LegitScript, and a standard application takes 4 to 6 weeks on its own. GrowPro clears in 7 to 14 days because we hold an Enterprise account, and we quote 8 to 12 weeks for the whole build because the brand, website, payments and pharmacy loading happen in that window.

Does Hedonic Digital own the platform my brand runs on?

Its page says it will "connect you with a licensed provider network" and "vetted licensed fulfillment partners" and set up "healthcare payment infrastructure." Who owns the underlying platform is not stated. GrowPro builds on WellieMD, which Kickstart Social owns.

Does GrowPro run ads too?

Yes, through Kickstart Social, our agency, sold separately from the build. You can also keep your own team or agency. The ad account is created in your name either way, and you keep it.
